Gargellen is one of the most impressive and highest villages of the Austrian Montafon region, being situated in the country of the Vorarlberg. Geological faults and the melting of primary rocks and limestones have left their marks: softer mountain shapes neighboring higher ridges.
Gargellen, situated in a sunny high valley and dominated by the 2770m Madrisa, offers a variety of facilities: sports, family fun, hospitality and delight – all together in a very charming way. In the centre of the town you will find the Alpenhaus – a well-priced alternative to a hotel.
